Silicone gel sheets provide a level of occlusion similar to normal skin and gently reduces tension on the edges of the wound. This provides the ideal environment for normal scar development and can significantly reduce the rate of abnormal and keloid scarring.

Silicone Gel

Silicone gel is considered the gold standard for topical scar therapy that works through dermal hydration and collagen regulation. Silicone gel hydrates the skin to speed up healing and acts like a protective shield against bacteria that can cause extra scar tissue to form. It also soothes scar itchiness and discomfort.

Onion Extract

Onion contains anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling and redness in newly developed scar tissue. This makes onion extract helpful for minimizing the appearance of scarring and stretch marks. Onion extract also reduces excess production of collagen fibres or the fibres that form scar tissue.

Centella Asiatica Extract

Centella Asiatica is a medicinal herb with a long-standing history noted for its scar-healing abilities and other skin benefits. Its chemical components are antioxidant as well as an anti-inflammatory.

Anthocyanins

Found naturally, anthocyanins are the pigments that give red, purple, and blue plants their color. Anthocyanins are viewed as natural sun protectants as well as having antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

1. Apply a small amount of Scar Gel to your scar with the applicator or your finger.

2. Massage the Scar Gel into your scar with firm pressure for 3–5 minutes or until dry.

3. After massaging, cut the reusable Scar Cover and cover the entire scar. You can use the Scar Tape to cover the scar instead of the Scar Cover or use it to hold the Scar Cover in place if needed. Leave this on until the next massage.

• Cost of Shipping: Shipping cost will be calculated prior to purchase confirmation and be determined by the shipping option selected and shipping destination.
• Shipping Times: Shipping times are calculated once the order is fulfilled. A confirmation email will be sent when the order is shipped. Refund Policy

Following health and safety guidelines, Scar Kit does not offer returns or exchanges on any items sold in its store. You can always contact us for any return question at info@scarkit.ca.

Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, including personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds: Should you experience a product defect, please contact us regarding your concern. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
